Batch numbers are marked on the spine of the carabiner.
Products manufactured before 20 November 2023 and after 1 January 2026 are not affected. Certain products marked with a “*” on the spine have been tested and are confirmed safe (see manufacturer identification guide).
Defect
Gate malfunction can occur on affected carabiners.
The gate may not close automatically and may require manual closing.
Hazard
If the gate does not close and lock properly, the carabiner may open during use.
This could result in a fall and cause serious injury or death.
No injuries have been reported to date.
What You Should Do
You should immediately stop using the affected carabiner.
Please check the batch number marking on the spine of your carabiner. If your product matches one of the affected batch numbers listed above, do not continue to use it.
Contact us to arrange return and refund or replacement.
Remedy
Affected products will be replaced or refunded free of charge.
