Whether you're cragging, on a multi-pitch mission, or working in rope access, the PINCH redefines control and versatility in assisted braking devices. It's the first belay device on the market that can be attached directly to your harness’s central ring — keeping things compact, low-profile, and close to your body.
This unique setup means smoother rope handling: no need to lock the device in place to feed slack, and you can always keep a full grip on the brake rope. The PINCH's design gives you more range too — belayers can pay out 20–30 cm more rope in one motion, perfect for feeding slack to a leader fast.
Other standout features:
-
Smooth rope flow: Steel front-facing grooves reduce tangles while lowering or abseiling.
-
Dual-speed control: Use the lowering lever or fine-tune with your brake hand — especially helpful with thin or supple ropes.
-
Anti-panic system: Extra safety if things go wrong, ideal for beginners or high-stakes belays.
-
Second braking tier: Allows controlled lowering of lighter climbers or in high-friction systems.
-
Customizable for pros: Rope access users can permanently disable the panic feature with an included screw.
-
Multi-pitch flexibility: The only device that mounts at the anchor in 4 different orientations — so your lowering lever is always in the right spot.
