About Simon Carter's Onsight Photography

Simon Carter is a climber and photographer who has travelled widely for his art and has built up a huge collection of climbing imagery over the last three decades. He says that it started out as a way of combining his two passions, and that he always wanted his work to be a celebration of climbing.

He started out publishing The Australian Climbing Calendar in 1995 and five coffee-table books of his work have been published. Along the way, he got into publishing guidebooks books, seeing them as an important way to document and share invaluable information with climbers. Read more.
